First day of Prep and Gr 2

The start of another busy school year and both girls were feeling happy and excited abotu starting PREP and Gr 2.

Summer fun !

While we were in Ballarat we found a great playground that had some interesting effects ! 

 The bubble returns !  For all those who lived in Ballarat  in the 80's this is the next best thing to walking on water in the bubble - the most fun ever!!

Off to the big city

Lloyd and I snapped up the offer for a night out in the city whilst Bob and Chris were down from Brisbane.  We have a lovely romantic night and then met up with the rest of the gang the next morning.

After lunch on South Wharf we decided to do the tourist thing and check out the tall ship, the Polly Woolside.  The kids and grown up girls thought it was all very interested and we even got put to work.

Ballarat cont... Sovereign Hill

Day 2 of our Ballarat adventure took us to Sovereign hill.

Ballarat Wildlife park

Having won a family pass to Ballarat Wildlife park at Emily's kinder fundraising night we decided to head to our old stomping ground and spend a couple of days in Ballarat.  Here are some photos from the wildlife park.
