Oscar - the latest addition to the extended family

Sarah and Aaron brought over the latest addition to their family... little Oscar. At only 10 weeks old, he certainly is a cutey. Scally wasn't too sure to start with but Oscar soon had us all won over with his tricks. But puppies don't have much stamina and he had a little catnap on Aaron's knee.

Bowling Birthday

The Pike's celebrated Emily's, Julia's and Sarah's birthdays by going bowling then having afternoon tea back at our house.
Emily and Abi got to have a bowl (although I'm not sure who was more excited - Emily or Dad). Nanny and Poppy had a cuddle of the grandkids (including the latest addition - Oscar). It was a great afternoon and everyone had lots of fun.

Happy 2nd Birthday Emily

Emily celebrated her 2nd birthday yesterday. She had lots of fun opening presents (Abi felt that she should help from time to time of course). After finally getting dressed, Nanny came with a birthday cake and we got to sing 'happy birthday to me' (in the words of Emily). Nanny then gave a demonstration on Em's guitar.
After cake we went out to the shops for some retail therapy and a birthday lunch. Emily finished the day off with some dancing in her new fairy dress.

Great joke

Angus thought it was a great joke pretending to support the Brisbane Lions. But we all know that when he is bigger he will ultimately decide to support the mighty Blues!

2nd week of holidays

The second week of the school holidays was a bit quieter than the first but we still managed to go for a picnic in the park, have Aunty Kellie over for a sleep over, and of course play more dress ups.

Big Smiles

Angus is all smiles at the moment and loves to have big chats to his Daddy and Poppy.

First week of holidays

We have had a very busy first week of holidays. We've been baking, playing dress ups and going on a train ride with friends to the park at Eltham.
