Horse riding

The Walker Clan enjoyed a days horse riding at Melton. Emily had her very first riding lesson and LOVED it. She was very keen to help out with brushing the horses and doing whatever she could to help. Abi enjoyed getting back in the saddle and also enjoyed the hands on work with the ponies. The were at the riding school for 5 hrs and said they'd like to go back soon. Lloyd and I both had a lesson, and despite the sore legs afterwards had a great time remembering how to actually ride a horse properly. Emily proceeded to ask at dinner if she could have a pony for her b'day!

Mother's Night at Kinder

Emily made Mummy feel very special at her Mother's day night at kinder. We had a lovely night together with special songs and dances as well as a supper provided by the children.

Easter in Qld

Easter this year was spent in Brisbane with Grandma and Pa. Easter eggs were plentiful and despite the rainy weather the kids managed to get a swim in most days!

Wind and rain wasn't meant to be one of the attractions at Movie World... but we still managed to have fun.
