Lloyd had a birthday the other day and the person who was most excited about it was Abi. She made sure he had presents to unwrap, balloons to play with and of course a b'day cake to blow candles out on. She has already started planning Emily's b'day and asks each day whether it is 'little baby's b'day soon'. She know that it is Emily's, then Mummy's then hers, so she's counting the days... she'll be counting a while though I'm afraid.
Don't worry, he got more than a Bunnings catalogue... although that was his wrapping paper and he got the rest of the catalogue as a present!
You always have to get lollies for your b'day, especially ones you love, like bananas.
Ok, so no one looks really impressed, but they were, trust me... Abi even shared her 'my litte pony' candle with he Dad. She must love him.

Easter
All the Pike girls were home for Easter, it was a full house with 12 people sleeping over in total on Friday night.
Abi and Emily had a fantastic time with all their Aunties and of course Nanny and Poppy, there is always someone to play with, do colouring with or just generally give attention to two very cute little girls.
Easter egg hunting came early this year as Saturday was the only time when everyone was home. Abi didn't mind though.
Emily very quickly figured out how to get into an Easter egg, but in the words of Abi she needs to 'wait bit bigger' until she can have chocolate... so she was offered a banana instead...
"What is this healthy rubbish, banana's are good and have their place, but they DO NOT substitute for Easter Eggs!"
"Please Poppy, I'm very cute, if I smile nicely will you give me that Easter egg back... Please"
"mmmm, Yes, it has been decided, EASTER is GREAT !"
