Nanny and Poppy's house

Abi requested to stay at Nanny and Poppy's house overnight without mum or dad - so of course we were only too happy for this to happen. The girls had a lovely time and mum and dad enjoyed a rare sleep in.

Emily's Inside fun

On these cold Winter days Emily loves to have a chat on the phone to friends and family. She thinks the phone is the funniest thing in the world and always races to it whenever the phone rings, laughing and chatting at the top of her voice.

Emily has also been quite industrious in learning to walk. Lots of practice time on these cold days and she is getting very competent at walking whilst pushing something along in front of herself. Races up and down the hall are a frequent event. Abi usually wins...

After all that excercise it is time for a snack and Emily thinks she's a very big girl being able to sit up at Abi's table rather than in the high chair.

Washing the baby

Emily has a fascination with the dishwasher at the moment - actually with anything to do with water or flashing lights, therefore the dishwasher is perfect as it has both. How do I get into this thing Mum - I really just want to help you with the dishes...

Ahh, this is how it is done - I told you I'd be a big help Mum.

Tunnel of Fun

Emi has discovered that the world is a wonderful place now that she can crawl and explore all sorts of different places. One of her favourite place to crawl is through the tunnel. Abi thinks it's pretty good fun too. Another good game (or so Abi thinks) is tip your sister out of the tunnel... usually onto her head. Yes, we are still working on this thing called 'sharing' and I'm sure we'll continue to do so for the next 20 years or so.
