More ponies!

The end of May/ start of June has been a very busy time in the Walker house hold with the purchase of not one but two new horses!  Macey has come to join the family and Hart will arrive next week.

After only having Macey at home for a week Abi took her to pony club and had a great day on her.

 

Hart is a beautiful ex race horse with a lovely kind temperament - can't wait for him to arrive and join the ponies!  

I think that's enough for now... no more buying horses for a little while at least. 

Happy 60th Nanny

Mum/ Nanny celebrated her 60th b'day this month and to celebrate there was a great party at Eyensbury.  Lots (and lots) of food, quite a few drinks, a few speeches and b'day cup cakes helped to make the night a huge success.  Happy b'day to the best mum in the world!

1st ever Pony Club Rally !

Today saw the full circle of Pony Club attendance for the Pikes/ Walkers. After many years of absence I finally returned to the pony club scene (and I have to say it felt very good being back, eating morning tea next to the horse float). So yes,  Abi and Emily attended their first pony rally and they had a fantastic day, even though they had to share a pony.  Even before the day was finished they both asked when they could come back and complained it was too far away when I said next month.  Here are a couple of snap shots of the lovely Lily (she is one fantastic pony - what a legend!) and the girls.
