Easter comes early

Since we're not going to be at Nanny and Poppy's for Easter the 'Easter bunny' thought it would be nice if he left a few early eggs forthe kids to find. Angus hunting in the garden for eggs. Emily after her find!

Emily enjoying the hunt. Abi's an old pro, she done a few Easter egg hunts in her time. She was first to find her stash.

Horse riding

Nanny the organiser arranged for a horse trail ride to happen on Saturday. Lloyd and I took part (and yes the next day remembered what certain muscles felt like) and after we had finished the kids got to have a walk around the yards. Nanny even had a ride and Angus thought that her white horse was the best. "Can we buy Nanny's horse at the horse shop?" was his question for the rest of the afternoon.

Angus with a half smile, not sure if he's happy or worried...

Emily was very excited about having a ride on a pony.

First days

2011 sees Abi in grade 1 and Emily in 4yr old preschool. Both girls were very excited about their stepping up into a new adventure.

Walkers, Walkers everywhere

January was a busy time with lots of fun with "the Walkers". At one stage 11 Walker family members all staying in our house! It was great to see Adrian, Rachel, Jamie and Hannah as well as Grandma and Pa and we certainly packed a lot into the 10 days we were together. Here are just a few of the highlights.
